Press Conference Held Ahead of Afghanistan Industry Week Exhibition
Kabul-A special press conference was held today in Kabul in anticipation of the upcoming Afghanistan Industry Week Exhibition. The event was attended by senior officials from the industrial sector, media representatives, and stakeholders in domestic production.

Weezharoz-Shirbaz Kaminzada, President of the Afghanistan Chamber of Industries and Mines, announced that the exhibition will officially begin tomorrow and will take place across four large halls with the capacity for 700 booths.
The exhibition will remain open to the public for six days, from *9:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily.
Highlighting the importance of promoting and supporting national products, Kaminzada called on citizens, students, and academic staff from both public and private institutions to visit the exhibition and show their support for Afghan-made goods.
He also mentioned that a 25% discount* has been arranged for attendees participating in the event.
Mohammad Saber Latifi, Head of the Afghanistan International Exhibition Center, also addressed the gathering, stating that the primary goal of the event is to boost the share of domestic production by 70% and strengthen the country’s industrial sector.
Latifi further noted that dedicated booths from various government agencies will also be part of the exhibition, with the objective of supporting the private sector and encouraging domestic investment.
As part of national industrial development initiatives, this exhibition provides a vital platform for showcasing Afghanistan’s production potential and building commercial linkages between producers and consumers.
