No further extensions will be granted.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Simultaneously, IndiGo\u2019s codeshare partnership with Turkish Airlines is also under review.<\/p>\n<p>This action follows the revocation of the security clearance of Turkish ground-handling firm \u00c7elebi Aviation by India on May 15, citing national security concerns.<\/p>\n<p>Minister of Civil Aviation, Murlidhar Mohol, stated, \u201cTurkey\u2019s open support for Pakistan has made this a national security issue.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, \u00c7elebi\u2019s operations have been suspended.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Analysts note that this decision is partly a response to Pakistan\u2019s use of Turkish drones in retaliatory strikes following India\u2019s cross-border operations.<\/p>\n<p>IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers has maintained that the airline fully complies with India\u2019s aviation regulations and emphasized that the final decision on lease extensions rests with the government.<\/p>\n<p>This development could have significant implications for India-Turkey bilateral ties and international air connectivity through Istanbul.<\/p>\n<p>Weezharoz<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Weezharoz-IndiGo, which was operating the jets under a lease set to expire on May 31, had requested a six-month extension.
