Weezha Roz<\/span>-Kabul<\/strong>-In recent days, claims had emerged suggesting that the Ministry of Finance\u2019s National Budget Department had developed a new standard for “budget savings, social justice, and rationalizing salaries.”<\/p>\n

These rumors alleged that salaries of high-ranking officials, including members of the Supreme Court, civil service employees, military personnel, as well as allowances for education and cadres, had been reduced.<\/p>\n

In response to these claims, Haqmal stated: “The lists and claims regarding changes to salary structures are completely false and baseless.<\/p>\n

Salary payments for all employees this week will occur without any changes.”
\nThese rumors surfaced amid Afghanistan\u2019s ongoing budget shortfall and international sanctions.<\/p>\n

Some economic observers had previously warned that further salary cuts could exacerbate poverty and social unrest.<\/p>\n

Haqmal concluded by reaffirming that the Ministry of Finance remains committed to its obligations, and any changes to financial policies will be announced through official channels. He urged citizens not to pay attention to these rumors.<\/p>\n

Despite the official denial, concerns about Afghanistan\u2019s economic stability and the welfare of government employees remain.<\/p>\n

The international community and oversight bodies have called for greater transparency from the Islamic Emirate in managing financial resources.<\/p>\n
