Visit of the Economic Deputy of the Prime Minister’s Office to the New Embassy of Afghanistan in Tashkent
Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Economic Deputy of the Prime Minister's Office of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, during his official visit to Uzbekistan, visited the new building of the Afghan Embassy in Tashkent on Sunday, February 23, 2025. At the ceremony, Sheikh Abdul Ghafar Bahr, the Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate in Tashkent, provided details about the design and function of the new building.

Weezha Roz-Tashkent– Baradar Akhund, during this visit, highlighted Afghanistan’s current stability and stated: “Alhamdulillah, today, a government is in place that is working with full responsibility to serve the people.
The welfare and comfort of our fellow citizens is our main goal, and every official is obligated to solve their problems quickly and with the utmost accuracy.”
He also added: “Progress and sustainable stability are achieved when the government serves the nation, and the people also cooperate with the government in all fields.”
Officials of the Afghan Embassy in Tashkent also presented a report on their recent activities.
They announced that after the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, major challenges faced by Afghan migrants and workers in Uzbekistan, including legal and administrative issues, have significantly reduced.
The new Afghan Embassy building in Tashkent, which is now complete, will be officially inaugurated soon.
This project has been considered a symbol of strengthening diplomatic relations and supporting Afghan citizens in Uzbekistan.
The visit ended with an emphasis on the role of mutual cooperation between the people and the government in the development of Afghanistan and improving services for citizens abroad.
