Turkey Rejects Israeli FM’s Remarks, Says Netanyahu Must Face Justice
Ankara-The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey issued a strong official statement rejecting recent remarks by Israel’s Foreign Minister on social media, calling them “baseless accusations and disgraceful lies” targeting Turkey and its president.

Weezharoz– In the statement dated June 18, 2025, Turkish officials emphasized that the Israeli authorities’ intense focus on President Erdoğan’s statements is itself confirmation of their validity.
The ministry also directly named Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, placing him among historical figures accused of genocide, and stated that he is currently under legal prosecution for such crimes.
Condemning Israel’s actions, the ministry declared: “The crimes committed by Israeli officials against humanity are being documented clearly before the eyes of the world.”
The statement warned that once international support and legal immunity for Israel erode, Netanyahu and his associates will inevitably be held accountable in court.
As the statement concluded: “As our president has stated, we hope Netanyahu and his accomplices are tried fairly and brought to justice.”
