Trump’s Ultimatum to Iran: Two-Month Deadline for New Nuclear Agreement with Warning of Military Action

According to Axios, citing an official U.S. source and two informed sources, U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a stern and warning letter to Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, setting a two-month deadline for reaching a new nuclear agreement.

Weezha Roz-Kabul-The letter was recently delivered through a UAE envoy to the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tehran.

Based on information published by Axios, Trump, in the letter, explicitly warned of “severe consequences” if an agreement is not reached.

The sources also emphasized that the content of the letter was coordinated with Israeli, Saudi, and UAE officials before it was sent.

It remains unclear whether the deadline begins from the date of the letter’s delivery or from the potential start of official negotiations.

However, Axios’ report suggests that if Iran rejects Trump’s proposal and continues its nuclear program, the likelihood of “military action by the U.S. or Israel against Iran’s nuclear facilities will significantly increase.”

Informed sources described the tone of Trump’s letter to Khamenei as “strong and demanding,” insisting on a shift in Tehran’s current approach to the nuclear issue.

The letter is part of Washington’s broader efforts to apply maximum pressure on Iran while aligning regional allies like Israel and Arab countries.

Analysts believe this move could escalate tensions in the region, especially since Iran has previously rejected any negotiations under pressure.

So far, no official response has been issued by Iranian authorities regarding the letter.
