Trump’s Fierce Attack on China’s Trade Policies: “No Country Is Safe from the Tariff Sword

Washington – Former U.S. President Donald Trump launched a fiery tirade on Truth Social, targeting China’s trade policies and warning that no country would be exempt from paying the price for unfair trade balances and non-tariff barriers. He also revealed plans for new national security tariffs on electronic products and semiconductors.

Weezharoz-Trump stressed that China, in particular, treats the U.S. “the worst” and would not escape the consequences.

He criticized mainstream media for allegedly misreporting recent tariff updates, claiming no exceptions were made for China. Products linked to fentanyl will still face a 20% tariff, albeit under a newly categorized tariff system.

The former president announced upcoming national security investigations into semiconductors and the entire electronics supply chain, arguing that America must no longer be held hostage by hostile trading nations like China.

“It’s time to make our own products on American soil,” he declared.

Trump highlighted recent tax and regulation cuts passed by Congress, claiming these would bring back high-paying jobs and contribute to what he dubbed “America’s Golden Age.”
“These days of abuse are over!” he said, reiterating his “Make America Great Again” slogan.

This statement comes amid ongoing U.S.-China trade tensions that began during Trump’s first term (2017–2021) and have persisted under subsequent administrations.

Experts warn that expanding tariffs to cover electronics could disrupt the global tech market, potentially leading to *higher consumer prices.

Although China has yet to respond, analysts expect Beijing to consider retaliatory measures.

Trump’s hardline stance reflects a renewed push for domestic manufacturing and confrontation with global trade rivals, signaling the potential escalation of a new trade war phase with broad international ramifications.
