Trump: I Prefer a Deal with Iran Over Bombing

Washington-Amid ongoing indirect nuclear negotiations between the United States and Iran in Oman, President Donald Trump has expressed a strong preference for reaching a diplomatic agreement with Tehran rather than resorting to military action. In a recent interview with the New York Post, Trump stated, "I would like a deal done with Iran on non-nuclear. I would prefer that to bombing the hell out of it."

Weezharoz-Trump emphasized that a successful agreement would alleviate the need for Israeli military intervention, noting, “If we made the deal, Israel wouldn’t bomb them.”

He also conveyed optimism about Iran’s potential response to diplomatic overtures, suggesting that Iran would be content with a peaceful resolution.

Despite his preference for diplomacy, Trump maintained that all options remain on the table should negotiations fail.

He remarked, “There are two ways Iran can be handled, militarily or you make a deal. I would prefer to make a deal.”

These comments come as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated his stance that Iran’s entire nuclear infrastructure must be dismantled, expressing skepticism about the current diplomatic trajectory.

The future of U.S.-Iran relations remains uncertain, with both diplomatic and military options being actively considered by the Trump administration.
