Traffic Accident on the Road to Argo District in Badakhshan Leaves 7 Dead and Injured
A traffic accident on the road to Argo District in Badakhshan province has resulted in 7 deaths and injuries. According to reports, the incident occurred on Tuesday, 7th of Hoot, in the Hazara Pass area, also known as "Sar Dara," in Argo district.

Weezha Roz-Badakhshan-The Badakhshan Police spokesperson’s office issued a statement saying that a vehicle of the “Saracha” type overturned, resulting in two deaths and five injuries, including two women and one young child.
The accident occurred when the vehicle was en route from the village of Bidak to Unity City.
However, upon reaching the Hazara Pass, the vehicle lost control and overturned into the valley.
The Hazara Pass area is one of the mountainous and difficult-to-navigate routes in Badakhshan, and due to its geographical conditions, traffic accidents are common in this area.
This region, situated between valleys and rocky cliffs, also faces problems related to rock slides and landslides during various seasons.
According to local officials, the injured have been transferred to medical centers, and the condition of some of them has been reported as critical.
Security and rescue forces are conducting further investigations into the causes of this incident.
Given that mountainous and winding routes in Badakhshan are vulnerable to weather and natural conditions, traffic experts emphasize the need for further measures to ensure road safety and provide driver education in these areas.
This traffic incident serves as a reminder of the urgent need for increased attention to road safety and security, particularly in the country’s high-risk routes.
