Thousands of Euros Found in Kabul Trash; Police Seeking Rightful Owner
Kabul-Kabul Police have announced that during a routine operation, officers from the 10th Security District discovered between 8,000 to 13,000 euros in cash hidden among trash.

Weezharoz-This discovery was confirmed by Kabul Police spokesman Khalid Zadran via his official account on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
According to the statement, the money was recovered on the 5th of Dhu al-Hijjah 1443 Hijri by security personnel.
Kabul Police, emphasizing efforts to clarify the origin of the cash and return it to its rightful owner, have called on anyone with relevant information or claims of ownership to contact the Public Relations Department of the Kabul Police Headquarters.
The unexpected discovery of such a large sum in a trash site has drawn public attention and raised concerns about possible illegal activities or suspicious financial transfers within the city.
Police have assured the public that the investigation will proceed carefully, and if ownership can be proven with valid documentation, the funds will be returned to the rightful claimant.
