Terrorist Attack in Margat, Quetta: Four Frontier Corps Personnel Killed, Three Injured
Quetta-Khaas Roz (Special Day):In a deadly terrorist incident in the Margat area on the outskirts of Quetta, a roadside bomb targeted a convoy of Frontier Corps (FC) personnel, killing four and seriously injuring three others.
Weezharoz-According to security sources, the FC troops were transporting military equipment to support forces stationed at the Margat coal mines when they were ambushed by the explosion.
Following the blast, security forces swiftly cordoned off the area and launched a wide-scale search operation to track down the perpetrators.
The Pakistan Army spokesperson strongly condemned the attack, stating: “Such cowardly acts cannot derail the peace and stability achieved in Balochistan.
Our security forces remain resolute in thwarting the nefarious plans of enemies, even at the cost of their lives.”
This incident comes amid a surge in terrorist attacks and insurgent activities in the Balochistan province in recent years.
Pakistani officials have repeatedly asserted that such acts aim to destabilize the region and undermine its economic progress.
Local communities and civil society organizations have expressed deep condolences to the families of the victims and urged authorities to intensify security measures to counter the ongoing terrorist threats.
