Tensions Persist Despite Ceasefire Declaration; Israeli Defense Systems on High Alert
Tel Aviv – Despite Israel's official agreement to a ceasefire proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump, the Israeli military has reported intercepting missiles allegedly launched from Iranian territory toward Israel.
Weezharoz-According to a statement released by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), air defense systems have been activated and are currently tracking the incoming threats.
This escalation comes just hours after the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office announced that Benjamin Netanyahu had accepted the U.S.-brokered ceasefire following what Israel described as the successful completion of its military objectives, including the destruction of Iranian nuclear and ballistic missile infrastructure.
The renewed missile activity has raised serious doubts about the implementation and sustainability of the ceasefire, fueling fears of continued conflict in the region.
As of now, Iranian authorities have not issued any official response to the reported missile launches.
