Temperature Drops in the UK, with Rainy and Windy Weather Expected

Weezha Roz-The UK Met Office has forecasted that, with high pressure sitting in the Southeast, cold air will move into the southern parts of the country, accompanied by cloudy conditions.

For most of England and Wales, temperatures are expected to range between 3°C (37°F) and 5°C (41°F) tomorrow.

However, in the Southwest, temperatures could reach 8°C (47°F), while Scotland will experience 9°C (48°F).

Temperatures are set to drop to -3°C (27°F) tomorrow night in northern England, North Wales, and northern Scotland, while London and Manchester will see 0°C (32°F).

On Sunday, daytime temperatures for most of England will range between 2°C (36°F) and 6°C (43°F).

However, the Southwest and Scotland will reach 9°C (48°F), while Wales will experience 7°C (45°F).

Forecasts indicate that a severe cold spell, starting from the Arctic, will impact the UK next week.

This temperature contrast will combine cold northern air with warmer air from the tropics, creating an active jet stream that will bring spells of wind and rain to Britain.

Aidan McGivern, a meteorologist from the Met Office, said, “While high pressure will dominate the UK this weekend, it doesn’t necessarily mean sunny or warm weather.”
