Supreme Court of Afghanistan Announces Judicial Delegation’s Visit to Tehran
The Supreme Court of Afghanistan has announced that a judicial delegation has traveled to Tehran.

Weezha Roz-In a statement released on Friday, the Supreme Court revealed that the delegation, headed by Abdul Malik Haqqani, the Deputy Administrative Chief of the court, is in Tehran for meetings with high-ranking Iranian officials.
The statement mentioned that the purpose of this visit is to strengthen judicial cooperation between the two countries, secure the rights of Afghan prisoners in Iran, and enhance mutual relations between Afghanistan and Iran.
The statement further noted that the delegation would focus on discussing alternatives to the execution of Afghan prisoners sentenced to death and also pursue the issue of the extradition of detainees.
During this two-day visit, the Afghan delegation is scheduled to meet with the Iranian Minister of Justice, the head of the Extradition Office, and other Iranian officials to discuss the aforementioned topics.

– Sheikh Mohammad Sharif Haqqani, Head of the Supreme Court’s Appellate Court- Mufti Atiqullah Darwish, Head of the Supreme Court’s Criminal Division
– Sheikh Abdul Rahman Farahi, Head of the Supreme Court’s Judicial Inspection Division
– Mufti Mohammad Ibrahim Jan Abul-Hafiz, Head of the Supreme Court’s Legal Division
– Mowlavi Abdul Rahim Rashid, Head of the Supreme Court’s Foreign Relations and Media Department
– Mowlavi Baz Mohammad Hakmal, Deputy Director of the Consular Affairs Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan
