Successful Completion of the Transfer of 30,000 Afghan Pilgrims to the Holy Sites
Kabul-The Ministry of Guidance, Hajj and Religious Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has officially announced the successful completion of the transfer of 30,000 Afghan pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for the Hajj pilgrimage of 1446 AH. Among them, 652 individuals were included as Hajj guides (Moallemeen).

Weezharoz-This operation was carried out over the course of one month through four flight zones (Kabul, Balkh, Herat, and Kandahar) via Ariana Afghan Airlines and a private airline, completing 97 flights in total.
The Ministry stated that all Hajj-related procedures, both inside Afghanistan and in Saudi Arabia, were managed efficiently, systematically, and responsibly.
According to the ministry, the pilgrims were provided with the following services:
– Appropriate accommodation
– Three meals per day
– Standard transportation
– Proper health services
– Facilitated Hajj rituals
All contracts related to Hajj services were signed and implemented after thorough planning and full coordination with the relevant companies, ensuring a safe, organized, and reassuring environment for the pilgrims.
It is noteworthy that the transfer process began at the start of Dhul Qa’dah and continued in sequence from the Kabul, Mazar-e-Sharif, Herat, and Kandahar flight zones to Medina and Mecca.
As per the plan, the return of the pilgrims after completing the Hajj rituals will also be carried out using the same airlines.
