Speech at the European Parliament: Emphasis on a Third Option for the Iran Crisis
Strasbourg–During an official session of the European Parliament, one of the featured speakers addressed the ongoing developments in Iran and the escalating regional tensions, stressing the need to view the Iranian issue beyond the nuclear file.

Weezharoz-“The real crisis is not merely the Islamic Republic’s nuclear ambitions,” the speaker said, “but rather the fundamental struggle between the Iranian people, along with their organized resistance, and the ruling religious dictatorship.”
Highlighting the long-standing proposal known as the “Third Option,” the speaker explained: “For over two decades, the Iranian Resistance movement has advocated a solution that is neither appeasement of the regime nor military intervention.
Instead, it calls for democratic change from within, led by the Iranian people and their legitimate resistance.”
The speech, delivered at the European Parliament headquarters in Strasbourg, warned that focusing solely on the nuclear program, without addressing the root causes of repression and authoritarianism inside Iran, would fail to resolve the crisis and could exacerbate regional and global instability.
The speaker concluded by urging the international community to support the Iranian people’s demand for freedom and democracy and to recognize their organized resistance as a viable political alternative.
