Return of Former Officials: Afghan Personalities Engagement Commission Continues Outreach Efforts
Kabul-As part of the ongoing efforts of the “Afghan Personalities Engagement Commission,” several former officials and military personnel from the previous government including former Ghazni governor Sher Khan Khosti have returned to the country and received immunity cards issued by the commission.

weezharoz-Khosti expressed his satisfaction upon returning to Afghanistan, thanking the Islamic Emirate for its positive reception and cooperation.
He described the current security situation as a major achievement, stating that foreign media portray a misleading and negative image of the Islamic Emirate.
Other returning figures also praised recent development efforts across the country and emphasized that today’s Afghanistan offers a conducive environment for collaboration and national reconstruction.
During the official welcoming event, Mawlawi Zakerullah Zaker, head of the commission’s secretariat, stated, “Afghanistan is a shared home for all Afghans, and there are no legal or security obstacles preventing the return of former officials.”
Over the past few months, the commission has worked to implement the general amnesty policy by encouraging the peaceful return and reintegration of influential individuals from the previous regime.
This initiative is seen as a key part of the Islamic Emirate’s broader strategy to promote national unity and ensure lasting internal stability.
