Qatari Emir Thanks Trump Following Iran’s Missile Strike on Al-Udeid Base

Doha – Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, held a phone conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump early Tuesday morning, expressing gratitude for America’s support during Iran’s recent missile attack on the Al-Udeid Air Base.

Weezharoz– The call followed Monday night’s missile strike by the Islamic Republic of Iran on the U.S. military base located in Qatar.

According to official sources, the attack was reportedly carried out with prior coordination, involving the launch of 14 missiles toward the base.

Trump had earlier stated that 13 of the missiles were intercepted and destroyed by defense systems, while one missile was not engaged as it posed no threat.

During the call, the Emir voiced satisfaction that no casualties or damages occurred and praised the United States for its role in safeguarding joint security and ensuring effective coordination during this critical period.

The conversation comes amid escalating tensions between Iran and the U.S. following a series of retaliatory strikes, as analysts warn of the growing risk of broader conflict in the region.
