Weezha Roz-According to the decision of the Primary Court of the Balkharaq District in Faryab Province, a punitive sentence has been applied to three individuals, including one woman, for the crime of fleeing the home and facilitating others to flee.
The Supreme Court announced that the punitive sentence was applied in a public ceremony on Wednesday, the 6th of Shawwal, 1446 AH.
The Primary Court sentenced one of the criminals to 39 lashes and imposed a one-year imprisonment along with 39 lashes for the other two individuals.
This decision was enforced after approval from the high-ranking officials of the Supreme Court, in the presence of Mawlawi Ali Gul (Hamidi), the Chief of the Appeals Court of Faryab Province, judicial members, civilian and military officials, religious scholars, and a large gathering of the general public.
