Palestinian Journalist Killed in Gaza; Media Death Toll Rises
Gaza-Local Palestinian sources have reported the death of journalist Yousef Al-Nakhala along with his family in a recent Israeli airstrike on Gaza City.

Weezharoz-Al-Nakhala was a local journalist actively covering the ongoing developments and Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip. His death marks yet another loss in a growing list of media workers killed since the outbreak of the war.
According to international organizations and journalist protection groups, dozens of Palestinian journalists have been killed since the conflict began in October 2023. Many of these casualties occurred in direct airstrikes or targeted attacks on journalists’ homes and media offices.
Human rights organizations have repeatedly warned about the serious threats facing journalists in Gaza and have urged Israel to respect international humanitarian law, including the protection of media personnel.
The killing of Yousef Al-Nakhala once again highlights the escalating risks faced by journalists reporting from the front lines in Gaza a reality that not only endangers their lives but also seeks to silence the voices conveying the suffering of the Palestinian people.
