PAKISTANI PM RESPONDS TO ESCALATING TENSIONS WITH INDIA: “NO NEED FOR NUCLEAR WEAPONS”
Islamabad-In response to recent cross-border clashes and rising military tensions with India in the Kashmir region, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that Pakistan has effectively responded to Indian provocations without resorting to nuclear weapons.

Weezharoz-Speaking in Azad Kashmir, Sharif emphasized that Pakistan’s armed forces had successfully countered Indian aggression and that nuclear deterrence had not been necessary.
He noted that this response demonstrated Pakistan’s military capability and challenged India’s perceived superiority, referencing historic events such as the 1971 war.
Sharif’s remarks come at a time of heightened tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbors, raising international concerns about the potential for broader conflict.
The Prime Minister warned that any future incursions by India would be met with a strong and decisive response, asserting Pakistan’s readiness to defend its territorial integrity.
He concluded with a call for dialogue and diplomacy, expressing hope that tensions could de-escalate through peaceful means and that stability would return to the region.
