Opening of the 4th National and International Industry Week Exhibition by the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs

Kabul-The 4th National and International Industry Week Exhibition was officially inaugurated today in Kabul by Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs. The exhibition aims to showcase the country’s industrial capacities, capabilities, and achievements, and will continue for one week.

Weezharoz-In his opening remarks, the Deputy Prime Minister praised the efforts of Afghan industrialists, calling them the driving force behind Afghanistan’s economic structure.

He stated: “If you guarantee quality, price, and quantity in your production, I promise you from this stage that we will increase customs tariffs on similar imported items to the level of self-sufficiency, in order to support domestic products.”

Hundreds of domestic companies are participating in the exhibition, presenting their products in various sectors including food, pharmaceuticals, dairy, construction materials, handicrafts, carpets, plastics, battery manufacturing, iron smelting, and many more.

The exhibition also highlighted advancements in other sectors such as telecommunications and health, where significant investments have been made and numerous facilities provided to investors.

The exhibition is widely welcomed by industrialists, government officials, and the public, serving as an important platform to promote national products and encourage local investment.
