New Clinic Built in Dand District of Kandahar with Qatar’s Financial Support

A new clinic, constructed at a cost of 6.5 million Afghanis with financial support from Qatar, has been completed and inaugurated in Dand District, Kandahar. This clinic will provide basic healthcare services to approximately 350,000 residents of the area.

Weezha Roz-Kandahar –The newly built clinic marks a significant investment in delivering healthcare services to the residents of Dand District.

Qatar contributed 6.5 million Afghanis to fund the project, which is seen as a critical step toward improving the health conditions of local communities.

Officials in Kandahar Province stated that the clinic will not only serve Dand District but also improve healthcare access for residents of neighboring areas.

This initiative is expected to address social and health challenges in Kandahar and represents a new beginning for tackling public health issues.

Kandahar officials and the Qatari Embassy jointly described the clinic as a vital investment for the local population.

They expressed hope that such projects will enhance the quality of life for residents and adequately meet their healthcare needs.
