National Campaign for Collecting Jujube Saplings for the Greening of the National Qushtepa Canal in Parwan Launched

Weezha Roz-Mulla Mohammad Sabir Hamza, the head of the Jabal-us-Siraj Cement Factory, says that based on the decree of the Islamic Emirate, a large-scale campaign for collecting jujube saplings (cuttings) has been launched across Afghanistan by the Emirati National Development Company.

Press officials from Parwan province say this initiative has been started to promote the prosperity and greening of the National Qushtepa Canal and to prevent wind and soil erosion, with Parwan also being part of this process.

Mr. Hamza adds that the responsibility for the process of collecting and transferring jujube saplings to the Qushtepa Canal in Parwan province has been entrusted to the Emirati National Development Company, under the leadership of the Jabal-us-Siraj Cement Factory.

He calls for the cooperation of the people and officials of Parwan province in this regard.

Meanwhile, Mufti Mohammad Idris Anwari, the governor of Parwan, said that the campaign for collecting saplings for the greening and vitality of the Qushtepa Canal and for the economic growth of the canal area is a good initiative by the authorities.

The governor of Parwan instructed that for the collection and transfer of saplings from districts to the provincial capital, district governors should cooperate with the leadership of the Jabal-us-Siraj Cement Factory.

He also expressed hope that the majority of saplings would be collected from Parwan province.
