Meteorological Department warns of heavy snow and rainfall in 29 provinces

Weezha Roz-The Meteorological Department of the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation of Afghanistan has warned of heavy snowfall and rainfall in 29 provinces of the country.
The Meteorological Department predicts snow and rainfall for tomorrow (Saturday, January 19) in the provinces of Herat, Farah, Helmand, Kandahar, Zabul, Urozgan, Ghor, Badghis, Faryab, Jowzjan, Sar-e-Pul, Bamyan, Daikundi, Paktika, Ghazni, Paktia, Logar, Maidan Wardak, Samangan, Balkh, Baghlan, Parwan, Kabul, Panjshir, Nuristan, Badakhshan, Kapisa, Nangarhar, and Laghman.
According to the forecast from the Meteorological Department, snow accumulation in different areas of these provinces will range from 10 to 40 centimeters, while rainfall is expected to be between 15 to 50 millimeters.
The Meteorological Department of Afghanistan has also predicted strong winds with speeds of 50 to 110 kilometers per hour in the western, southern, eastern, and central regions of the country.
