Meeting of the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister of Afghanistan with the Hindu and Sikh Council Members
Dr. Mullah Abdul Wasi, the General Director of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, met with members of the Hindu and Sikh Council of Afghanistan this morning at the Presidential Palace.

Weezha Roz-Kabul-At the beginning of the meeting, Samiullah Mehrabi, the legal advisor to the Hindu and Sikh Council, praised the leadership of the Islamic Emirate for its efforts to resolve the community’s issues and reclaim their confiscated lands.
He stated, “We are very pleased with the special attention given by His Excellency Amir al-Mu’minin to this matter.”
The council members presented their proposals on reclaiming the confiscated lands, restoring religious sites, completing unfinished projects, and resolving the electricity problem, calling for serious attention to these issues.
Manjeet Singh Lambe, representing the Hindu and Sikh community, also brought up the issue of constructing a commercial market in the first district of Jalalabad city and submitted the council’s written petition for review to the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister.
In response, Dr. Mullah Abdul Wasi emphasized that Afghanistan is the shared home of all its citizens, stating, “The Islamic Emirate considers it its responsibility to address the problems of all fellow citizens.”
He assured the council members that their proposals would be carefully reviewed and their demands would be presented to the relevant authorities.
