Weezha Roz-Today, Mullah Hibatullah, the leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, visited Kandahar University and delivered a speech at a large gathering attended by the university’s leadership, faculty, staff, and students.
The visit, which was met with widespread enthusiasm, underscored the importance of knowledge and education within the Islamic system.

He urged faculty and students to pursue both forms of knowledge with sincerity, to keep their intentions solely for the pleasure of Allah Almighty, and to use their knowledge to serve both religion and the people.
Addressing the faculty and students, the leader of the Islamic Emirate said, “You hold a high status in society, and the people look up to you as models of knowledge and ethics.
Throughout history, Afghanistan has repeatedly resisted foreign invasions, and now, thanks to Allah, it is progressing under the light of an Islamic and free system.”
He also called on students and faculty to document the history of the nation’s martyrs, fighters, and heroes and to introduce it on a global scale.
He added, “The Mujahideen, under difficult circumstances and with the help of Allah Almighty, liberated this country.
Now it is your turn to elevate Afghanistan’s standing in the world through your knowledge and efforts. Strive to such an extent that others come to learn from you and use your knowledge for global progress.”

He stated, “The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan wishes you well. Schools and universities are complementary institutions, and it is our duty to protect and support both.”
He also highlighted the efforts of the Islamic Emirate to advance knowledge and education, saying, “We have provided all necessary facilities for scientific progress.
We have instructed the Ministry of Higher Education to allow foreign professors to come and teach in Afghanistan at any cost, but the priority must be the professional training of the country’s youth.”
In concluding his remarks, the leader of the Islamic Emirate called on the participants, as scholars and intellectuals, to work toward the progress, unity, and solidarity of Afghanistan and to prioritize serving the nation.
He emphasized that all his directives are issued in consultation with esteemed scholars and are based on the Quran and Hadith, in accordance with the commands of Allah Almighty.
