Israeli Sources: 16 Injured in Major Security Incident in Northern Gaza; 4 in Critical Condition

Tel Aviv – Israeli media reported late Monday that a serious security incident occurred in northern Gaza, resulting in at least 16 injuries, with four individuals said to be in critical condition.

Weezharoz – According to the reports, one of the wounded is a senior officer in the Israeli army.

A loud explosion, originating from northern Gaza, was reportedly heard as far as the city of Ashkelon.

The first incident occurred in the Beit Hanoun area when an Israeli armored vehicle carrying soldiers was hit by an improvised explosive device (IED).

A second explosion reportedly took place in the same area, involving a military robot carrying munitions that detonated during its preparation.

Israeli authorities have not yet released further details about the nature of the operation or any groups involved. The security situation in the region remains tense.
