Israel Issues New Warning: Critical and Nuclear Targets in Tehran Now in the Crosshairs

Tel Aviv-Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz announced on Tuesday, June 17, that the Israeli military is preparing to launch a new phase of operations against the Islamic Republic of Iran. He stated that from today, “high-value strategic targets, government facilities, and infrastructure” in Tehran are officially on Israel’s strike list.

Weezharoz-Speaking during a visit to the site where an Iranian ballistic missile struck central Israel, Katz emphasized that prior warnings will be issued to residents in targeted areas before any strikes commence.

“We are warning Tehran,” Katz declared, “because we are on the verge of targeting the core of the regime’s decision-making centers.”

The defense minister also claimed that Iran’s underground nuclear site at Fordow is among the designated targets.

He stated that the Israeli Air Force has “complete superiority over Tehran’s skies” and has identified over 10 nuclear-related facilities in the capital that are “on the verge of destruction.”

This sharp escalation comes amid unprecedented military tensions between Iran and Israel, with fears mounting that the conflict could spiral into a full-scale regional war.

Analysts interpret Katz’s remarks as a clear signal of Tel Aviv’s intent to apply maximum pressure on Tehran.

Meanwhile, the possibility of broader involvement by regional and global actors continues to grow.
