Weezha Roz-Iran’s Foreign Minister Araqchi has arrived in Kabul today as part of a visit aimed at advancing Iran’s neighboring policy and fulfilling the Foreign Ministry’s core mission of pursuing Iran’s national interests by engaging with Afghan officials.
A spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote on their X page that the purpose of this engagement is to address and find solutions to shared concerns and interests.
Mr. Baqai added that this visit could be a turning point in leveraging the many ties between the two nations to secure mutual benefits for both countries.
The Afghan government has not commented on this visit so far.
