Iran Responds to IAEA Report: “Based on Fabricated Israeli Intelligence”
Tehran-Kazem Gharibabadi, Deputy Foreign Minister for International Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, has strongly criticized the latest report by the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on Iran’s nuclear activities, calling it "based on fabricated information" allegedly provided by Israel and a "clear violation of UN Security Council resolutions."

Weezharoz-The IAEA’s recent report claims that Iran conducted undeclared nuclear activities at three sites: Lavizan-Shian, Marivan, and Varamin.
It also states that Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile has reached 9,247.6 kilograms, including 408.6 kg enriched up to 60%.
In response, Gharibabadi asserted that the report lacks credible documentation and reflects political pressure exerted by Western powers.
He described the IAEA’s approach as “non-technical and biased.”
He reiterated that Iran has consistently cooperated with the IAEA and that all its nuclear activities are under the agency’s safeguards.
The official blamed the current situation on the U.S.’s unilateral withdrawal from the JCPOA and the failure of European parties to uphold their commitments.
Gharibabadi emphasized that Iran remains committed to its obligations and categorically rejects any deviation from the peaceful nature of its nuclear program.
Meanwhile, Western powers including the UK, France, and Germany issued a joint statement calling on Iran to halt its nuclear advancements.
Iran dismissed these demands as baseless and indicative of the West’s double standards.
Iran continues to insist on the peaceful intent of its nuclear program and urges all parties to return to full compliance with the JCPOA.
However, the IAEA’s report could set the stage for a possible resolution against Iran at the upcoming Board of Governors meeting.
