Iran Labels US Maximum Pressure Policy as Violation of International Law and Crime Against Humanity

The spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, Esmail Baghaei, condemned recent remarks by the U.S. Treasury Secretary regarding the continuation of the maximum pressure policy against Iran, describing them as a clear sign of Washington policymakers’ ongoing hostility toward the Iranian people and an explicit admission of "law-breaking and crimes against humanity."

The Iranian people, by strengthening domestic capacities across all sectors, will resist unlawful and inhumane pressures.

These remarks follow Washington’s announcement to maintain and intensify sanctions and economic pressure against Iran.
