Eid Prayer Held in Kandahar with Leadership of Amir al-Mu’minin, Complete Security, and Large Public Attendance

Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, announced in a statement that the Eid al-Fitr prayer was held under the leadership of Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada, the leader of the Islamic Emirate, at the Eidgah Mosque in Kandahar. Thousands of Afghan citizens from various regions attended this spiritual event. He emphasized that the event was held in a peaceful atmosphere with special security measures in place.

Weezha Roz-Kabul– Security forces of the Islamic Emirate took control of the routes leading to the Eidgah Mosque in Kandahar and other prayer centers across the country starting the night before Eid.

In Kandahar, several checkpoints and the presence of special forces ensured the security of the ceremony. Local sources reported that no security incidents occurred during the prayer.

In other major cities like Kabul, Herat, and Mazar-e-Sharif, the Eid prayer was also performed with the enthusiastic presence of people and under the strict supervision of security forces.

In Kandahar, worshipers from neighboring provinces came in groups to the Eidgah Mosque. Many of them met with the leader of the Islamic Emirate after the prayer.

Zabihullah Mujahid, in his message, described Eid al-Fitr as “a symbol of unity and solidarity” and urged the people to cooperate with the institutions of the Islamic Emirate to help stabilize the country.

In Kabul, the Eid prayer ceremony was held in the city’s large mosques with a broad presence of citizens. Some worshipers described this day as “an opportunity to renew their commitment to Islamic values.”

Citizens in Kandahar appreciated the high level of security and order during the event. One participant said, “This year, we spent Eid in complete peace and without any worries.”

Security analysts considered the smooth conduct of the Eid prayer as a sign of the Islamic Emirate’s ability to manage large events.

They also believe this event could help improve the image of the Islamic Emirate on the international stage.

The Eid al-Fitr prayer in Kandahar and other parts of Afghanistan not only demonstrated the religious unity of the people but also served as evidence of the Islamic Emirate’s ability to provide security and create a peaceful environment for religious practices.

This success has strengthened hopes for achieving lasting stability in Afghanistan.
