Delegation from Afghanistan’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce Heads to Iran

Weezha Roz-Afghanistan’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce has announced that a three-member delegation has departed for Iran, following the visit of Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs.

According to a statement released by the ministry, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s delegation, led by Mohammadullah Bakhtyar, the Director of Transit Affairs at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, left for Iran this morning (Friday, January 28th).

This visit comes in the wake of a high-level delegation from Afghanistan, headed by Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, and joined by Nooruddin Azizi, the Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce.

The goal of this trip is to follow up on the technical matters discussed during the previous visit and to establish a permanent representation of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce at the Chabahar Port.
