Deadly Assaults in Balochistan: Balochistan Liberation Front Claims Responsibility
Kabul-The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), an armed separatist group, has claimed responsibility for a series of targeted attacks against Pakistani government forces and pro-state militias in Balochistan on May 30 and 31.

Weezharoz-In an official statement, the BLF spokesperson said that on Saturday morning, the group’s fighters ambushed and killed two members of the pro-government militia known as the “Peace Force” near Pareech Hotel in the Nal area of Khuzdar district.
Their weapons were reportedly seized The BLF accused such militias of working under the direct support of Pakistani intelligence agencies to suppress Baloch nationalist movements and warned that continued cooperation with the state would result in further attacks.
Later that day, at around 1:00 PM, BLF fighters claimed they disarmed several police officers at Shahwani Chowk in Kharan, releasing them afterward “out of respect for their Baloch identity.”
In a separate statement, the group also took responsibility for attacks carried out the previous evening in the Tump and Mand regions of Kech district.
According to the BLF, its fighters used heavy weapons to target a Pakistani military camp in Malant, Tump, killing three soldiers and destroying the surveillance system.
Roughly an hour later, a BLF sniper team allegedly killed two Military Intelligence personnel stationed on the rooftop of their office in Soru Bazaar, Mand.
The group emphasized that these operations are part of a broader campaign against Pakistani military presence in Balochistan and reaffirmed its ultimate goal of achieving an “independent Balochistan.”
Regional observers see these attacks as signs of expanding separatist activity and growing instability across Balochistan.
