Weezha Roz-Peshawar-The Afghan Consulate General in Peshawar, Pakistan, has initiated a new process for passport issuance for Afghan nationals residing in the country, starting from Tuesday, 30 Dolo 1403 (Afghan calendar).
This step is taken in order to improve consular services and meet the needs of Afghan migrants.

1. Afghan electronic Tazkira or paper Tazkira certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan.
2. Previous electronic passport (if expired).
3. Two passport-sized photographs (4×5 cm), with a white background and no Photoshop.
4. The applicant must be present at the consulate. For children under 7 years old, the presence of a parent or legal guardian is required.
1. Applicants must visit the consulate on the specified date with complete documents.
2. The relevant forms will be filled out on-site, and personal information will be entered accurately.
3. The cost of issuing an electronic passport is typically $120, but discounts may be applied for specific groups (such as students, married couples, or disabled individuals).
4. After document verification, the passport will be issued and delivered within a specified period.
The spelling of the applicant’s name and details must exactly match the previous Tazkira or passport.
Photographs should not be stapled and must be affixed with glue on the form.
Married couples with an official Afghan marriage certificate will receive a 50% discount, and individuals between the ages of 15 and 18 will receive a 20% discount.
