Collective Wedding Ceremony for 42 Couples Held in Kabul

Weezha Roz-Kabul- A charity organization, in a humanitarian effort, organized a collective wedding ceremony for 42 young couples from across the country in Kabul.

The ceremony was attended by youth from several provinces of Afghanistan, and each couple received gifts including 40,000 Afghanis, essential household items, and clothing.

This event marked the 16th round of a program organized three times annually by the Omran Charity Foundation. Over the past decade, more than 4,000 individuals have married through this initiative.

This effort not only helps reduce wedding costs for low-income families but also serves as an effective step toward strengthening family foundations and addressing social issues related to marriage in society.

Officials from the Omran Charity Foundation stated that this program is designed to support youth and encourage the formation of healthy and stable families.

They emphasized that this ceremony is not merely a material aid but an effort to instill hope and motivation among young people, enabling them to start their married lives with peace and security.

Participants in the ceremony also expressed gratitude for the efforts of the Omran Charity Foundation and hoped that such programs would continue in the future.

One of the couples present at the event said, “This assistance not only relieved us of financial burden but also allowed us to begin our married life with greater hope and motivation.”

The foundation announced its intention to expand the scope of its activities in the future, aiming to assist more needy youth and take steps toward improving the social and economic conditions of society.
