Baloch Protest Against ‘State Terrorism’ and ‘Forced Disappearances’ with Slogans of ‘No to Oppression, No to Pakistani Tyranny’
Amid escalating security pressures and the ongoing trend of enforced disappearances in Balochistan, the people of the Kharan region held a widespread and peaceful protest, turning the city's streets into a scene of resistance. The demonstration, accompanied by slogans such as "No to oppression, no to Pakistani tyranny" and "Either bring us back or kill us!" was a response to the illegal detentions of Baloch activists, including Dr. Mehrang Baloch, Bibagar Baloch, Sami Din Baloch, and other civil society figures.

Weezha Roz-Islamabad-Baloch families have repeatedly stated that Pakistani security forces detain young Baloch people without judicial orders and hide their places of detention.
The increasing attacks on human rights activists and the severe restrictions on freedom of expression in Balochistan have drawn sharp condemnation from human rights organizations, which have long accused Pakistan of systematically violating human rights in Balochistan.
Protesters, holding photos of the missing individuals, demanded an immediate halt to “state terrorism” and the prosecution of those responsible for the violence.
Anti-government slogans such as “Balochistan is not a prison, the executioners will be held accountable!” echoed throughout the protest.
Participants emphasized that the Baloch resistance would continue until justice was served and their violated rights were restored.
With this protest, the people of Balochistan once again demonstrated to the world that despite decades of suppression, they will not abandon their fight for dignity and justice.
They addressed the international community, stating, “Your silence in the face of Pakistan’s crimes is complicity with the oppressors.”
As of now, Pakistani officials have not provided an official response to these protests, but local sources report an increased presence of security forces in Kharan.
