Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Issues Statement Following Attack on Nuclear Sites
Tehran-The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) has released an official statement condemning the early morning attacks on the country's nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, describing them as “barbaric acts, in violation of international law and a blatant breach of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).”

Weezharoz-According to the statement, the hostile action by the enemies of the Islamic Republic, including the Zionist regime and the United States, targeted facilities that operate under the continuous supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and within the framework of Iran’s international obligations.
The AEOI criticized the IAEA for its “apathy and implicit complicity” in the face of these attacks and called on the international community to denounce what it labeled as lawless behavior driven by “jungle rules,” and to support Iran in defending its legitimate rights.
The statement further noted: “The American enemy, through cyberspace and remarks by its president, has claimed responsibility for these attacks on nuclear sites.”
Reaffirming Iran’s commitment to the peaceful development of nuclear technology, the AEOI assured the Iranian people that, despite the malicious plots of its adversaries, the country’s nuclear progress will not be halted.
The organization added that legal measures are underway to pursue accountability for these violations.
