Afghan Minister of Hajj and Religious Affairs Attends International ‘Nadwat al-Hajj al-Kubra’ Conference in Saudi Arabia
Jeddah-Dr. Noor Mohammad Saqib, Minister of Guidance, Hajj and Religious Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and Head of the Afghan Hajj Mission in Saudi Arabia, participated in the 49th edition of the international conference ‘Nadwat al-Hajj al-Kubra’, held in Jeddah at the official invitation of the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

Weezharoz-The prestigious conference brought together ministers of Hajj from Islamic countries, renowned Islamic scholars, academic figures, representatives of Islamic organizations, and senior Saudi officials.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, who emphasized his country’s deep commitment to serving pilgrims, describing it not merely as a service but as a historic and religious honor for the Kingdom.
Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Advisor to the King of Saudi Arabia, also spoke at the event, stating:
“Serving pilgrims is a great honor and a longstanding aspiration of the Saudi King.
This commitment must be sustained, and we view the improvement of Hajj services as a strategic goal.”
He underlined that ensuring pilgrims can perform their rituals with ease and safety is the core purpose of the conference, and discussions focused on preparations for the Hajj season and the expansion of the concept of “Istita’ah” (ability to perform Hajj).
The ‘Nadwat al-Hajj al-Kubra’ conference is held annually during Hajj season in Saudi Arabia, with a focus on the religious, legal, administrative, and welfare aspects of Hajj to ensure a safe, orderly, and dignified environment for pilgrims.
