Academic Diplomacy in Action: Afghanistan’s Deputy Minister of Higher Education Departs for Russia

Kabul-The Ministry of Higher Education has announced that Sheikh Zia-ur-Rahman Al-Aryoubi, the Deputy Minister for Academic Affairs, departed today for the Russian Federation to attend the 3rd Forum of Ministers of Higher Education and Science.

weezharoz-Accompanied by a delegation of academic and administrative officials, Al-Aryoubi is set to participate in the international scientific forum held in Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan, alongside representatives from various countries.

According to the ministry, the Deputy Minister will deliver a speech at the forum and hold bilateral meetings with academic and educational authorities from other nations to discuss scientific cooperation, launching joint academic programs, faculty exchange, and enhancing the academic strength of Afghan universities.

This visit is part of the ministry’s broader efforts to expand international academic relations and benefit from global expertise to improve the quality of higher education in Afghanistan.
