Federal Officers Arrest 10 Illegal Immigrants in San Juan, Puerto Rico

Weezha Roz-Recently, U.S. federal authorities launched operations to search for illegal immigrants in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The operation involved raiding a building in the Santurce neighborhood of San Juan, where at least 10 individuals were arrested.

These actions are part of the stricter immigration policies of the Donald Trump administration, which issued orders to strengthen border security early in his presidency.

On his first day in office, Donald Trump declared illegal immigration a “national emergency” and ordered the U.S. military to actively assist in securing and protecting the borders of the United States.

These measures were specifically designed to address the increasing flow of illegal immigrants from Latin American countries and other parts of the world into the United States.

The arrests and similar operations were conducted to prevent the illegal entry of immigrants into the U.S. and are considered part of the Trump administration’s efforts to enforce tougher immigration policies, particularly concerning illegal immigration.

Many human rights groups and some politicians criticized these immigration policies, while Trump administration officials considered them a necessary step in protecting the U.S. borders and national security.
