Iron Ore Mining in Panjshir Province Put Up for Auction

Weezha Roz– Hafiz Mohammad Agha Hakim, the Governor of Panjshir, announced that the iron ore mining project in the province, covering an estimated area of 30 square kilometers, has entered the bidding stage and will soon commence.
The Governor of Panjshir emphasized that the survey of the iron ore mine has been completed, and the project is now in the bidding phase. With the commencement of this project, thousands of job opportunities will be created for the youth of Panjshir.
Additionally, on Tuesday, an auction was held in Panjshir, where 2,133 carats of emerald were sold for $56,600. More than 100 traders participated in the auction, and the emeralds were sold to local traders.
The event also saw the participation of several young Panjshiri traders, whose involvement is considered crucial for the future economic improvement of the province by the local population.
Residents of Panjshir, particularly those interested in working in emerald mines, have called on the local authorities to start operations at the newly discovered iron ore mine.
