Da Afghanistan Bank Governor Attends International Islamic Finance Summit in Morocco
Kabul – Noor Ahmad Agha, Acting Governor of Da Afghanistan Bank, has departed for Morocco at the head of a high-level delegation to participate in the annual summit of the Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB). The international event, scheduled for the first week of July in Rabat, Morocco’s capital, focuses on the development of Islamic banking, financial transparency, banking stability, and the expansion of global cooperation in the financial sector.

Weezharoz – Afghanistan’s participation in this summit is considered a key step toward strengthening ties with global Islamic banking institutions and expanding Sharia-compliant financial services within the country.
According to the report, the summit will bring together central bank governors and senior representatives from various Islamic countries to share critical experiences in Islamic finance.
Da Afghanistan Bank’s engagement in this gathering is expected to pave new paths for the growth of Islamic banking in Afghanistan and foster further international cooperation in this domain.
