Araghchi: Iran Will Never Allow Others to Decide Its Destiny
Tehran – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has issued a strong response to recent remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump, reaffirming Iran’s commitment to national dignity, independence, and resistance to foreign threats.
Weezharoz-In a statement released Wednesday, Araghchi said: “The complexity and resilience of Iranians, as reflected in our magnificent carpets, are the product of countless hours of hard work and patience.
But in essence, the Iranian people are very straightforward: we know our worth, we value our independence, and we will never allow anyone else to decide our fate.”
He added that if President Trump genuinely seeks a deal, “he must abandon the disrespectful and unacceptable tone toward Iran’s Supreme Leader and stop hurting the sentiments of millions of devoted Iranians.”
Referring to recent tensions with Israel, Araghchi stated: “The great and powerful Iranian people showed the world that the Zionist regime had no choice but to seek protection from its so-called ‘godfather.’ They will not tolerate threats and insults.”
He warned that “if illusions lead to more grave mistakes, Iran will not hesitate to reveal its real capabilities capabilities that will end all delusions about the power of Iran.”
Araghchi concluded with a diplomatic note:“Good will begets good will, and respect begets respect.”
