Afghan Foreign Ministry: Serious Follow-Up on Violence Against Afghan Child at Moscow Airport
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has announced it is closely monitoring the case of violence against an Afghan child by a Belarusian national at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo International Airport

Weezharoz-According to an official statement, the Afghan Embassy in Moscow has been tasked with pursuing the matter through all diplomatic and legal channels available in the host country and reporting the findings back to the Ministry.
In response, Hafez Abdullah Yaser, Counselor at the Afghan Embassy in Moscow, visited the injured child and, in addition to delivering financial assistance sent by the Ministry, assured the family of comprehensive support and follow-up.
The Foreign Ministry noted that the perpetrator is currently in custody and called on the Russian Federation to thoroughly investigate the case and ensure the attacker faces due justice.
The incident has received widespread attention in Afghan media and among Afghan diaspora communities, raising concerns about the safety and protection of migrant children abroad.
