Iran’s Foreign Minister Meets Turkish President on Sidelines of OIC Summit
Istanbul– Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on the sidelines of the 51st session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers in Istanbul.

Weezharoz-During the meeting, both sides discussed recent regional developments, particularly the escalating tensions between Iran and Israel, and emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation in political, security, and economic fields.
President Erdoğan expressed concern over the intensifying conflicts in the region and called on all parties to exercise restraint and seek peaceful resolutions to disputes.
He also underscored the necessity of unity among Islamic nations in facing shared threats.
Foreign Minister Araghchi appreciated Turkey’s stance on the recent Israeli aggression and urged practical support from Islamic countries for the people of Iran and Palestine.
The two sides also exchanged views on bilateral relations and key regional issues, including the situation in Gaza, migration, and economic cooperation.
