New Wave of Iranian Missile Attacks: Strikes Hit Jerusalem and Haifa
Jerusalem-Israeli media reported that at least three missiles struck various locations, including Jerusalem and the port city of Haifa, following a fresh wave of missile attacks launched by the Islamic Republic of Iran on Friday.
weezharoz-In an official statement, the Israeli military confirmed that approximately 25 ballistic missiles were fired from Iranian territory toward targets inside Israel.
Air defense systems reportedly intercepted some of the incoming missiles, while others managed to hit their intended targets.
In Haifa, Israel’s national emergency service reported that at least 16 people were injured in one of the strikes, with several in serious condition.
Israeli officials warned that these attacks are part of what they called “Iran’s ongoing retaliation for recent Israeli operations inside Iranian territory,” and cautioned that further escalation is possible.
Meanwhile, Iranian sources stated that the strikes were in direct response to Israel’s latest attacks on military facilities and civilian casualties inside Iran, warning that continued aggression will be met with “even harsher” responses.
The international community remains deeply concerned about the potential for the conflict to spill over into a broader regional confrontation and continues to call for restraint on both sides.
