Second Top Iranian Commander Assassinated; Israel Claims Killing of Ali Shadmani
Tel Aviv-The Israeli military has claimed responsibility for the targeted killing of Ali Shadmani, Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces and one of the closest military figures to the Supreme Leader, in a precision airstrike in central Tehran.

Weezharoz-According to official Israeli military sources, fighter jets carried out a strike on a high-level command center believed to house Shadmani.
He was reportedly overseeing emergency military operations and approving Iran’s strike strategies, particularly those aimed at Israel.
Shadmani had previously served as Deputy Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters and as head of the Operations Directorate of Iran’s General Staff.
He was appointed Chief of Staff following the death of General Gholam-Ali Rashid during the opening phase of Operation “Dawn of Lions.”
Military analysts see Shadmani’s assassination as part of a deliberate Israeli strategy to disrupt Iran’s military command structure and weaken its operational coordination.
This marks the second high-ranking Iranian military official killed in less than a week amid intensifying tensions between the two countries.
As of now, Iranian authorities have not issued an official response. Reports indicate heightened security measures across Tehran following the overnight attack.
