PTI Supporters Rally Against General Asim Munir and ‘Undeclared Martial Law’ in Pakistan

Washington-Thousands of supporters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) gathered in Washington, D.C., to protest what they describe as an "undeclared martial law" in Pakistan and the influential role of Army Chief General Asim Munir in the country's political landscape.

Weezharoz-Demonstrators flooded the streets with PTI’s iconic green and red flags, chanting slogans in support of jailed party leader Imran Khan.

Organizers say the protest is part of a broader global campaign to raise awareness in the international community about the state of democracy and human rights in Pakistan.

The rally reflects growing frustration among PTI supporters in the diaspora over what they see as increasing military interference in civilian affairs and the crackdown on political opposition within Pakistan.

So far, there has been no official response from Pakistani authorities regarding the protest.
